MARITIME SECURITY

Apart from meeting all the statutory requirements to be a security officer, our Maritime Security Officers are fully trained and licenced and must complete formal maritime security officer training.

​

Our recruitment process also plays a big part in sourcing the right people from the outset. All Maritime security officers are chosen for a combination of their functional, technical and customer service skills.

​

Many of our Maritime Security Officers are also trained and qualified in multiple other competencies such as breathalyzing alcohol testing and onsite vehicle inspection.

​

Our staff are trained to operate and be fully conversant with various contractors and management electronic access control systems. As such they are competent in producing the various documentation available from these systems. Staff have a practical working knowledge of Microsoft office.

MOBILE PATROLLING

MINE SITE SECURITY

Auscorp Security officers have had a minimum of four years security experience, this includes at least year of mine site employment.

All our security officers are State and Nationally police cleared and have medical clearance.

​

Our security officers are trained in the following:

​

  • Drug and alcohol testing

  • All relevant training, including advanced deescalation techniques and nonverbal communication

  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)

  • Security equipment e.g. G.P.S. tracking devices, radio equipment

  • Traffic management

  • Occupational First Aid (OFA) trained
